
The amount of cars being exported from Korea to the CIS and Eastern Europe each month is now higher than it was for the whole first six months of 2023.
Absolute increase: Since 2021, exports to Russia have jumped from 200 cars per year to 30,000 (a 150-fold increase or 15,000%). This is even without including Kyrgyzstan.
Year-on-year growth: Comparing 2023 to 2024, the volume of exports to Russia in the first half of the year has increased by at least 5.5-6 times (13,885 cars in the first half of 2023 for all countries on the list vs. an average monthly value of January-July of 15,000+ cars).
